Clenbuterol Description Clenbuterol is a member of a group of drugs known as β2 (beta-two) agonists. These drugs are most often used in the treatment of asthma, as they help reexpand the passages to the lungs so that oxygen can be absorbed. They also have effects on the heart and muscles of the body and must be used with caution in patients with heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, and seizure disorders. Why athletes use it Clenbuterol has been shown to increase muscle mass by decreasing the breakdown of muscle tissue and by stimulating muscle protein synthesis. The effect appears to be present in both slow-contracting aerobic fibers and in fast-contracting anaerobic fibers. In addition, clenbuterol improves the speed of muscle contractions and promotes the breakdown of fat (lipolysis). Adverse effects • Increased fatigue • Palpitations (feeling your heart beat rapidly in your chest)< div class='tao-gold-member'> Only gold members can continue reading.
