Reverse Segond Fracture
A reverse Segond fracture is the opposite of the Segond one occurring as a result of external rotation and abnormal valgus stress, characterized by avulsion of distal tibial insertion of the MCL. Because of the trauma mechanism, these fractures are associated with disruption or avulsion of PCL as well as medial meniscal tears.
Radiography: This fracture appears as an elliptic bone fragment on the medial articular surface of the proximal tibia.Stay updated, free articles. Join our Telegram channel
