Potential interactions of 22 medications commonly prescribed in physical rehabilitation are based on two studies.1,2 Read the table from left to right. For example, the drug under column A interacts with the drugs under column B, C, D, E, and F. Consult a PDR for contraindications and associated complications. Also, note the FDA (2002)3 warning about the abrupt discontinuation of intrathecal baclofen; in rare cases, the practice has led to death.
