Trick: Transfer tendons causing deformity first

Example: PL to Achilles tendon when 5 + strength and plantar-flexing first ray. PT to Achilles tendon when it is inverting the foot

The Coleman Block Test

The Coleman block test is used to distinguish hindfoot-driven cavus from forefoot-driven cavus. With hindfoot-driven cavus, the hindfoot is fixed and the forefoot is mobile. With forefoot-driven cavus, the forefoot is fixed and the hindfoot is mobile.
